Sorry it’s been so long since my last posting. I’ve been working on the next novel in the Taren series—“Beyond the Band of Death”. I’m pleased with the rough draft I’ve come up with, and I can’t wait to dive into the world of Taren again. Wish me luck.

At Long Last!

After years of writing and revising, my novel is done and availble to the public.
It feels good to finally have my work finished and published. It was a long road to travel, but I made it, and ready to take the plunge again! I'm starting work on the next novel in my Taren series. But for those who are not familiar with Rayna of Nightwind, my first novel, let me back up a bit. Rayna of Nightwind is a fantasy novel about a woman named Rayna Powell who--following a car accident--finds herself in a strange land called Taren. If that was not bad enough, Rayna can't find a way back home and is stuck in Taren for the time being. She reluctantly joins up with a woman claiming to be exiled royalty. In time they grow to respect each other, but not before Rayna gets herself in lot of trouble. And did I mention that the current ruler of Taren(Nephredom) wants to kill them both? People have described the magic of Taren as "psychic magic", I think that is a fair description. I also want to mention that Rayna of Nightwind has sci-fi elements included that adds a bit of extra spice to the story. Well, with that said, I will get back to work on the second novel, and I hope you enjoy reading Rayna of Nightwind!

I'm working with my copyeditor Andrew, as we put the polish on my "Rayna of Nightwind" novel, and get it in shape for publication. Andrew has an excellent eye for detail and it's amazing how well he can find all the "little things" I missed. With his help, my manuscript flows and reads better than ever. Right now he's working on my first five chapters. So far so good...
